What to do in Charleston SC?

Here is a quick review of things in Charleston, South Carolina.

If you are ever in the Charleston SC area, here are a few of my favorite restaurants. This is definitely a shameful plug. What can I say. I like visiting the city. Most restaurants have been reviewed by Gourmet Magazine Guide, Southern Living Magazine, USA Today, Wine Spectator, and other magazines.

Anson restaurant offers superb Lowcountry cuisine of local seafood, grits, and fresh vegetables. It is one of the best restaurants to visit when you go to Charleston. The service is impeccable and it boasts a great atmosphere.

The Boathouse Restaurant @ East Bay is a few blocks away from the Historic District. Many locals and large parties spend their time at this place. It's got great food typical of the region, the wait service is great and knowledgeable of the menu, and the raw bar is excellent!

Hank's Seafood restaurant has a lively atmosphere and great local seafood fare. This is a place to try various fish dishes. Not only is there great food here, but it has an excellent bar as well.

"Jestine's Kitchen" restaurant is a local and tourist favorite. One of the city's best cheap eats.

Some places to stop by when you are in the City area:

The Historic Charleston Public Market Area

The South Carolina Aquarium

Charleston Waterfront Park Area

Not to forget, the historic Charleston district boasts great shopping as well.

Today's verse: John 6:31 (New International Version)
Our forefathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written: 'He gave them bread from heaven to eat.'"
