I saw this movie during the week. Pretty good, I thought. I'm sucker for foreign films, such as Brit flicks, Spanish cinema, Bollywood stuff, Hong Kong thrillers, and good ole' martial art movies.
In regards to this movie, it was a nice surprise to see this actor from the LOTR movies in a funny role again. He has gained some poundage since the last LOTR movie release in 2003.
I have been a fan of Brenda Blethyn, since I rented this film for my family to watch after a Thanksgiving dinner. We all thought it was a hoot. It may not be an Oscar performing endeavor, but it was still quite enjoyable.
The next couple weeks will be quite busy as I plan consulting work for some friends as they are either creating their startups or developing business plans. It will be quite interesting how things turn out in the next week or two.
The church will plan a life group fair for the upcoming weekend. That means I get to play the "exhibitor/promoter".
Lotsa stuff to do. Also, I'm thinking about taking a break from some church activities. We'll see what happens there, too.
Recording and sharing my experiences onscreen. Writing about the Washington DC metro area, Christianity, current events, travel, the local church scene, and my life adventures...And, yes, any tales, observations, & opinions may be included.

Which Brenda Blethyn film are you talking about? Both links went to her imdb page. Is it Secrets and Lies?
What other appropriate film? Of course, it had to be "Saving Grace."
BTW, I never was a Craig Ferguson fan of the Drew Carey series, but he surprised me. He isn't too bad of a screenwriter.
