Time is ticking away / Am I there yet?

Six more days until I'm off to traverse half way around the world to this place, and five more days until I'm away from the work place.

Too bad I'm not able to get more excited due to work deadlines and product release schedule crunches, but I'll have almost 3 weeks of play afterwards.

As much as I like the DC area, I'm glad to be out of town. I'm going to miss the hustle and bustle, but I won't miss the summer traffic and the CIA/FBI T-shirt wearing tourists. I guess I really do need that vacation very soon.

Egads, I'm not looking forward to the flight duration.

Twenty hours on a single flight will not be comfortable.

Does anybody know about any good books for travel reading??? As a friend recently put it, it's going to be a God ordained trip.

Oh, I just remembered that I need to pack this item. Better to be safe. That also reminds me to check the International Travel Advisory website.

Today's Scripture: Acts 20:1-2 (New International Version)

Through Macedonia and Greece

1When the uproar had ended,
Paul sent for the disciples and,
after encouraging them, said good-by
and set out for Macedonia.
2He traveled through that area,
speaking many words of encouragement to the people,
and finally arrived in Greece
