I got the latest news on the "Jesus for Jews" group today. (Notice the change of name, eh?)
At least, I got one opinion about it. My colleague who serves as a DC volunteer for this ministry just got back from the New York/New Jersey area where they held the latest "Behold Your God New York City" campaign. More information can be found at the NY Times site. (You will need a subscription to access the article.)
If your PC is equipped to view video, have an opportunity to watch the associated media strip at the New York Times site.
Otherwise, you can read an online copy of the article here. I talked to her this morning and she looked quite refreshed getting away from weeks of DC hustle.
Although I wouldn't think going to New York for a Jesus for Jews campaign would be anything light? I got to give her credit. Almost every year she goes out to their annual campaign wherever it is, serves in different capacities during several weeks helping others in these campaigns, and she delivers tracts and gives face time offering information about Jesus to hostile crowds.
God bless them and their work. Their work is quite controversial even in Christian circles.
If you ever get an opportunity to minister, then their site will be a great help. The testimonies are awe inspiring.
