I'm wondering if there exists a Washington, DC area Christian blog ring out there.
If so, I can't find it while searching via Google or Yahoo. If not, we may have to do something about that. There are plenty of secular DC blog rings in the blogosphere.
If someone knows about any similar groups, please let me know.
Also, I'm thinking about changing the title for "news of the day" topical posts to "newsworthy".
Other random thoughts: Plenty of thefts at work have occurred in the last few weeks. The people on my floor in our office building are getting so paranoid, including myself. I hope they catch the person(s) quickly.
It is rather annoying when I close my office door when I leave for the bathroom or for a meeting. Also, I found myself watching people as they walk near my door.
I can see several people hanging around the common areas speculating about who the possible thieves are. Suspicion is running rampant in the hallways.
To prevent any further thefts on our floor, door access away from the floor lobby has been disabled and huge posters are hung on the same doors announcing that visitors and regular staff walk through the main lobby entrance to check in.
Unfortunately, these thefts are not an isolated occurrence. It occurs quite often in the business world, from stealing other people's lunches to laptops and PCs. In DC, thefts are much more frequent during the summers.
In fact, a number of years ago a former colleague and I shared an office. While we were out for an all-hands meeting, her laptop and credit cards were stolen from the room.
It was suspected that a former employee had taken the items.
