New Orleans or bust? It went bust.

With great relief, my business trip to New Orleans scheduled for next week will be cancelled.

What happened?

For some reason, I wasn't getting any notices to get my paperwork completed in time for receipt of per diems, hotel reservations, etc.

It's not that I don't like going to New Orleans. Even with the blistering heat, I have a good time when I visit the city.

I didn't want to go through the hassle of rushing to get a check cut by the Finance dept and calling hotels at the last second.
