I found a couple neat sites, while I recently perused through the blogosphere.
The Persecution Blog was found while I was checking out another blog. It offers news feeds on Christian missionaries, who are bloggers, persecuted for their faith. The site appears to be sponsored by Voice of the Martyrs. At least, there is a link to VOM, and it carries an extensive list of persecution weblogs.
A new blogger has come to settle in the town in DC (or will soon be located here). Harmonyblog is the home blog for Derek Brown, a church planter. He currently resides in North Carolina, but he prepares for a church plant in the DC area. He blogs about Harmony Church, the DC area, and church planting. I'm looking forward to seeing what this church will be doing, and he is working on an upcoming book.
In other news, next week I'm heading to the Great Northwest (read: Seattle) for another conference. I'm looking forward to visiting this city; It has been a few years since I have traveled here, and I visited often when I had family living in the suburbs. It looks like the weather is going to be in the 40s and partly cloudy, while I'm there. It's typical Seattle weather.
Recording and sharing my experiences onscreen. Writing about the Washington DC metro area, Christianity, current events, travel, the local church scene, and my life adventures...And, yes, any tales, observations, & opinions may be included.
