Well, I have returned safely to DC.
On the last day in Philly, I went outside and took a few photo shots of the Philly proper area, like City Hall and the Central District, and the Reading Terminal Market area. I was hoping to try some of those famous Amish desserts/pastries, but that section of the market area was not opened due to renovations. I did have honey-banana-walnut crepes for breakfast at Profi's Creperie inside the market.
When I arrived at the train station, I took a few pictures. I caught up with a few winks on the train, and I took in an afternoon movie matinee at the local mall to watch this summer blockbuster. Earlier, I read the reviews on this movie, which were quite mixed, and I thought it was just as good as the second movie. If you are into action and great special effects, then this movie is for you.
When I arrived to the Virginia train station and entered my car, I found the wallet where I left it. Never again leave vital stuff at home, I hope.
Recording and sharing my experiences onscreen. Writing about the Washington DC metro area, Christianity, current events, travel, the local church scene, and my life adventures...And, yes, any tales, observations, & opinions may be included.
