I will miss you terribly. You were there during difficult times when I was going through many storms and valleys, yet God allowed you to come into my life and added joy and blessings to it. You were so faithful, greeting me at the door.
You were there when we siblings left the nest and you helped fill the hole partially to keep the house as a home. You were there to comfort us when the parents underwent those terrible separation periods. You were there to keep "C" in check when he was isolated from the rest of the world. You taught us to love unconditionally. You were such a joy to watch and to see your growth. For over 10 years, you had comforted, guided, and loved us as is. It made it much harder for us to see you go.
I will even miss your sneakiness, hiding behind furniture when you knew that you were in trouble for leaving those "gifts" in the house.
It was hard to watch you in pain, tired and in bad spirits. Your missing presence will be greatly missed. It will be weird to see that empty kitchen corner. Thanks to God for you, a great gift.
I will cherish those memories.
Recording and sharing my experiences onscreen. Writing about the Washington DC metro area, Christianity, current events, travel, the local church scene, and my life adventures...And, yes, any tales, observations, & opinions may be included.
