Feeling refreshed from the San Francisco holiday weekend and back to work, the traveler is catching up on assignments and e-mails.
I hope to have to some pictures up within the next few days. We spent most of the time at D's wedding and in Marin County. We did dart in and out of SF proper when we had the time. We got an opportunity to go up to the Golden Gate Recreation Area, drive up and down the Golden Gate Bridge, go to dinner at Chinatown, and walk around Fisherman's Wharf.
It was such a great time to be back with friends that I have not seen for several months. The wedding was beautiful and memorable.
One small, annoying thing happened during our trip. The car rental went kaput on Sunday morning. Half of the day was wasted arguing with the rental company and waiting for a car. Eventually, we got another rental after one of my lawyer friends hawed about the lack of quality customer service.
Yeah to Kelechi! It was alot of work to even get the rental replacement.
[Note to self: Do not ever rent from National Car Rental Service.]
Besides that minor occurrence, it was a satisfactory trip.
Recording and sharing my experiences onscreen. Writing about the Washington DC metro area, Christianity, current events, travel, the local church scene, and my life adventures...And, yes, any tales, observations, & opinions may be included.
