Getting ready for South Carolina and for the weekend

Charleston, South Carolina, here I come! I'll be there for a couple days next week for a conference. I'll try to send an update while I'm there. More details to come...

For Saturday night, I gotta get ready for a Karaoke costume party that the YA ministry is sponsoring and has planned during the last few weeks. I got a costume for the event. I hope it will be fun. I haven't gotten a chance to prepare due to Tuesday's teaching, the midterm exam on Thursday, and an all day meeting today at work. Also, this afternoon I squeezed a birthday luncheon with my former boss "C" and other former co-workers. I miss her very much. We decided to go to America @ Union Station. The food is usually above average. I had the roasted half chicken with whipped potatoes and various steamed vegetables. It was a fine lunch, and it was accompanied with good company. Definitely a good dining experience. Anyhoo, I'm feeling pretty wiped out tonight. BTW, I'm playing raquetball tomorrow morning to relieve the stress. So, I'll get some sleep very soon.

BTW, on Sunday night, I plan to attend the Frontline service at McLean Bible Church, and, hopefully, meet up with my friend "T" or other folks and catch up.
