And one year, 20 days, 2 hours, and 2 minutes later ...

You know that phrase ... April Showers Bring May Flowers.

Well, I can definitely sense that flowers are here. My allergies recently kicked in again, because the needed local rains have stopped during this time. That means the sun and warm weather are back.

The allergies haven't been too bad this spring.

This year, I only have one major symptom: itchy, red eyes. No sniffling or running nose and no sore throat! I'm currently taking Alavert, and I'm feeling lots of relief.

Back to the discussion about months. As the month of May quickly approaches, I just realized during this month last year that I actually started this here little bloggie thing.

Wow. Time sure does fly.

It has been an exciting time. A time filled with growth. A time filled with desperation. A time filled with learning. A time for reflection. Yeah, I'm thinking about the Scripture in Ecclesiastes about a time for everything.

During the year, I had divergent thoughts about what to do with this blog. Was this going to turn out to be a theological discussion type of blog? Was this going to be a *b___ and moan* type of blog? Cathartic postings when I'm feeling down? Who knew it was going to turn out like this?!

I definitely wanted to some kind of journal to record my thoughts, travels and experiences, but I also wanted a place where I could also load pics, share comments/opinions with others, and a site to serve as part of my witness, my day-to-day walk.

Ultimately, I wanted it to be a very honest journal. I sometimes forget that I'm the kind of person who suppresses feelings, like past hurts and pains that expresses themselves in inappropriate ways.

Since I'm a big boy, I'm not supposed to do that. Well, God is still working in me, and I hope He never stops working with me.

Lotsa stuff have occurred during this past year. I found a new church, met several new friends, got a refreshed sense of direction, and I'm thankful to God for that. Thank Him for restored relations and new relationships! Even the workplace seems less hostile lately.

Yeah, I'm reminded of another Scripture about God moving us from glory to glory.

Happy Belated Birthday to the blog!

In regards to blogging plans for the upcoming year, I may post some past bible teachings, and I'm going to attempt to be much more truthful and deeper in my postings, while trying not to reveal identities of persons/locations mentioned here.

That means I'm planning for a better blog.

I even toyed with the idea to start up another blog focusing on sermons, bible teachings, preachings. Who knows what's going to happen in the future?

Let's hope for another great year of blogging, talking, posting, loading, and updating. Cheers!
