I like mine either mild or spicy with cheese, onions, tomatoes, and lotsa cornbread. I've been thinking about this particular food all day, because I was here over the weekend for a birthday party.
It is one of the best places in the DC area to eat that spicy food item. Unfortunately, they don't have a location in the city proper. You have to go to the suburbs for a treat.
BTW, you may want to mark your calendars for DC's Annual Chili Championship on May 20th, sponsored by the National Kidney Foundation. You can buy tickets here. It's for a great cause! Normally, I would go, but I will be traveling to the Philippines during that time.
If you get an opportunity, take the time to see this movie. Surprisingly, it was funnier than I originally thought, although it isn't a family friendly movie.
Even the director has a blog.
I think this actor who played the main lead was the only person who could pull it together as both a controversial and funny performance. The main character reminds me how we as human beings have the tendency to stretch and manipulate the truth to our own selfish purposes. Another reason why the movie is so appealing is that it reminds me of some people I know in this town who work as lobbyists or work for lobbying firms act in the same way.
At her suggestion, Roz and I went to see it on Saturday after Praise practice.
