Am I ready?
Of course not.
We're still set for travel to the Philippines on Tuesday, and it appears that our latest product release may be ahead of schedule. Let's keep those fingers crossed. I don't want to leave my team without any help.
I'm certain they will be fine, and I work with some talented and creative folks.
This week, people at work are asking me if I'm excited about this vacation. I had to really, really think about it. You may have planned something or wanted something badly that it looks like it appears to happen in the far away future, but it doesn't seem real even when you know it's going to happen fairly soon.
Have you ever had the feeling? I think that way, because so much stuff is going on in my life. I'm working on automatic. I've been feeling like that for awhile.
Maybe in the last few months.
Well, I know that I will be excited when I'm out of the area for a few weeks, and it will finally hit me when I'm on the ground half way around the world, but I still need to finish some admin and planning tasks.
What are the vacation plans? I'll visit and mooch from family and relatives as much as possible. Then, the plan is to visit the local mountains in Luzon. I hope to visit Banaue and Sagada, as well as the beach areas of Ilocos Norte. Baguio City will be a definite travel stop.
Well, I already have my reading materials, and I have researched areas for internet cafes so I can post entries while I'm there. I still need to check out local churches.
On Wednesday, I received a note from a travel site or specifically a travel blog platform informing me to review the concept and offer any feedback. I have been shopping for a travel journal site so I can easily load pics/images for friends to view and post entries. I plan to look for something new. I didn't want to user blogger due to the frequent outages and the faulty loading of images.
If you know about any recommended sites, please let me know. You can send e-mail to me. I want to shop around before I commit to anything. Thanks.
Recording and sharing my experiences onscreen. Writing about the Washington DC metro area, Christianity, current events, travel, the local church scene, and my life adventures...And, yes, any tales, observations, & opinions may be included.
