Zidane faced FIFA authorities and gets fined and banned from playing soccer. More details found here, here, and here. Matarazzi gets fined as well. At least, it appears that they will both share in the guilt. At least, that's what one article states. Although Zidane retired, he will commit to complete 3 days of community service for FIFA.
In other news, here in DC, I'm soliciting interest from guys at church to play soccer during the weekends. In the beginning, they were so enthusiastic and said that they wanted to do it.
World Cup fever, I guess.
Now, they are finding ways to get out of it or avoiding my e-mails. What can you say about guys? Where is their commitment?
