In the meadow, we can make a snowman.

On the Friday morning after the Thanksgiving holiday, I turned on the radio which was set for the local Christian music radio station. Not only did I hear Christmas music but I heard traditional seasonal songs. You can say that I was a bit surprised about hearing the "tra-la-la-las" so early in the season.

December had not even arrived???

And, I didn't have my morning cup of coffee.

You know that feeling. Even during the holidays, it takes some external influences to get me started.

Stuff like...

* Jingle Bells
* Winter Wonderland
* Blah, blah, blah

They will not get me purring.

As you can tell, I was already in shock and was NOT ready for that. It was still November 24th.

I was thinking to myself that I wanted to "hurl" what was left of Thanksgiving Day's contents.

No, not really. I'm exaggerating, but I was close to doing it.

With less than 3 seasonal songs played by the radio station, I rushed toward the stereo system to re-set that radio dial.

Give me some secular music or news radio, please.

Don't get me wrong. I truly appreciate Christian radio, especially in the DC area. Inspiring.

Now, that it's the last day of November, I am much more prepared to listen to songs like "White Christmas".

Only in small doses.

Here is another similar rant about season holidays.
