He has a unique title for his website. It's called Finding New Life in Baghdad by the Bay.
Quite interesting.
I came across his blog while I was following links from another blog.
I have never met him.
What can you say about a guy who writes in his bio that he likes to write about Christianity and the awesome things God is doing in his life.
Ryan Zondervan is a missionary of sorts. For the last few months, he serves with a missions team in Cambodia. His current blog postings talk about his day-to-day experiences and meetings with Cambodian people and Cambodian culture, while adjusting to the hot weather and the language barrier.
His entries are quite entertaining. Also, his blog has links to photo images from past travels, and it includes album sets of friends, family, and international travel.
Some of his interests include the following: travel, missions, 80s pop culture and photography. If you have an opportunity, take a gander at it.
Here is an example. It's a detailed account about what some international travelers face when they meet an unwantedtype of visitor that doesn't want to leave.
Today's Scripture: 2 Corinthians 1:9-11 (New International Version)
9Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death.
But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God,
who raises the dead.
10He has delivered us from such a deadly peril,
and he will deliver us.
On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us,
11as you help us by your prayers.
Then many will give thanks
on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us
in answer to the prayers of many.
