Here at work on this particular Friday, we're starting new production procedures, and it is far from a perfect process. Unfortunately, we only had a few days to consider the process. Co-workers are yelling at each other and sending "nasty-gram" e-mails.
You would expect a Friday work day would be a day when things are slowing down in preparation for the weekend.
Nope. Nada.
It's not going to happen here.
Additionally, my lower back has been hurting for the last couple days. I think it has to do with sitting still on the plane to and from Seattle for several hours and standing up at long intervals at a conference for 4 days straight.
To add to the suffering, Union Station restaurants/food areas were closed this afternoon due to water outage. That means our coffee fetching group do not get any java at our local coffee shops.
There is a small, bright spot for this inane diatribe.
Well, I received a free 12 ounce coffee, Vanilla Creme, from the local deli located on the first floor of the office building. The owner didn't think it was worth the purchase since the coffee wasn't warm.
It's the little things that count.
Seriously.
Recording and sharing my experiences onscreen. Writing about the Washington DC metro area, Christianity, current events, travel, the local church scene, and my life adventures...And, yes, any tales, observations, & opinions may be included.
