Good news (x2): Asylum in Italy and GMU basketball as Cinderella stories

More good news have arrived. Abdul Rahman, the Christian convert, has been released from Afghanistan authorities and is now living (offered asylum) in Italy. He thanks the Pope for intervening. It appears that his 13 and 14 yr old daughters still live in the country with their grandparents. Let's hope that the family will be reunited soon.

The George Mason University basketball team is in the Final Four of the NCAA Championship game. Who would have thunk it??? Okay, okay, I'll support them. Go CAA! The Northern Virginia area is just going Patriot Wild, even the satellite campus located in the United Arab Emirates is taking hold of March Madness. It appears that the UAE students are learning quite a bit about the sport, as it isn't very popular. See details on page 15 from the Washington Post Express.
